Following the Ninth: In the Footsteps of Beethoven's Final Symphony, is a documentary film by Kerry Candaele taking us on a journey across five continents and into the heart and soul of one of the world's greatest works of art. Completely deaf and adrift from the people he loved, Ludwig van Beethoven composed his Ninth Symphony in 1824 as an act of transcendence near the end of his life.

Following the screening, there will be a panel discussion on the film, Beethoven's music, and its implications on society then and now.
